Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days following the shocking loss of esteemed film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the pair.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he finally felt able to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can now articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, noting that his initial encounter with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started sharing more moments together I knew this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor shared never-before-seen clips from the movie, adding that he could not remember "a single day without mirth".

"The movie is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob valued immensely. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I recall you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Fellow Artist

In a distinct essay, revered director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with his co-stars, and he comprehended the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Withheld

This week, a Los Angeles court official agreed to block the disclosure of the Reiners' autopsy reports, after an appeal from the local authorities.

A court order issued a embargo on the files to limit the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" associated with the active case.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the result of homicide, with a official listing listing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Aftermath and Reactions

In the wake of the killings, public individuals shared different comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, providing provocative claims that were broadly criticized by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the those speaking out last week. Speaking on his program, Rogan labeled the comments as "disturbing" and suggested they revealed a troubling lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by suggesting that an adviser should have acted when the decision to speak on the death was made.
