Two Men Face Charges Regarding Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Attack

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a suitcase robbery where a believed to be capsaicin spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was among those injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
